An AI copilot for WhatsApp automation: say what you want and it builds it
An AI copilot for WhatsApp automation lets you describe the bot you want in plain words and builds it for you. In Convo360, you type or speak a sentence in English, Hindi or Hinglish; Copilot shows the flow it will create, waits for your go-ahead, and opens the result in the Flow Builder ready to edit.
- The hard part of a chatbot tool is the blank canvas, and a copilot removes it.
- Copilot plans, you approve: nothing is created or booked until you confirm.
- It builds flows, opens the page you are looking for, answers how-to questions and books appointments.
- It runs on Convo360’s key and starts with 100,000 free tokens, so it works before you connect any AI provider.
- Team roles still apply, and a failed request is not charged.
The blank canvas is where most people stop
A good flow builder has dozens of blocks: messages, questions, buttons, conditions, API calls, payments, waits. That is what makes it capable. It is also what makes the first ten minutes hard. You open an empty canvas, you know what you want the bot to say, and you do not know which block comes first.
Most business owners are not short of ideas for their bot. A jeweller in Rajkot can tell you in one breath what it should do: greet the customer, ask what they are looking for, show gold or silver, take a number, and hand over to the shop. The gap is between that sentence and the canvas.
A copilot closes that gap. You say the sentence. It lays out the blocks.
What Convo360 Copilot does
Copilot is a side panel that opens on any page with Ctrl + J. You type or speak, and it does one of these things:
| You ask | Copilot does |
|---|---|
| “Build a WhatsApp flow that asks name and phone, then offers Gold or Silver” | Plans the flow, shows it, creates it when you confirm, and opens it in the Flow Builder |
| “Add a Diamond option to that menu” | Rewrites the flow with the change and saves it as a draft for you to publish |
| “Send the diwali_offer template to the VIP group tomorrow at 10 am” | Shows the template, the group, how many people and the time, and sends when you confirm |
| “Take me to where I connect WhatsApp” | Opens the right page |
| “How do I stop the AI making things up?” | Gives a short, direct answer |
| “Book Rohan Patel for Saturday 11 am, site visit” | Prepares the appointment, shows it, saves it when you confirm |
Flows can be built for WhatsApp, website chat, Instagram, Messenger and Telegram. A flow can contain messages, questions that save the answer, menus with buttons and a branch for each, and a step where the AI answers from your knowledge base.
The step-by-step walkthrough is in how to build a WhatsApp flow by typing one sentence, and the reference is in the Copilot docs.
It shows you before it acts
An assistant that changes things in your account without asking is worse than no assistant. Copilot is built the other way round.
- You see the plan first. For a flow, that is the name, the channel and every step with its buttons. For a booking, the person, the time and the note.
- Nothing is created until you confirm. If the plan is wrong, say what to change.
- A new flow is not live. It answers customers only after you choose it on an agent, so you can preview and edit it first.
- It asks when unsure. An unclear request gets one short question back, not a guess.
- Roles are respected. A teammate who cannot build flows by hand cannot have Copilot build one. Only the owner or an admin can buy tokens.
The AI never writes to your data directly. It returns a small plan, and ordinary, tested code turns that plan into a flow. Button names are trimmed to WhatsApp’s limits, and it can only open pages that exist.
How it is priced, and why it is separate from your AI key
Convo360 is a bring-your-own-key platform: your bots run on your own OpenAI, Gemini, Claude or Sarvam account, and you pay the provider directly with no markup. That stays exactly as it is. If you are new to the idea, BYOK explained covers it.
Copilot is the one exception, on purpose. A new customer has not connected a key yet, and that is exactly when they need help most. So Copilot runs on our key and has its own token balance:
- You start with 100,000 free tokens, given once per workspace. That is about 80 requests, enough to build several flows and decide whether it is useful to you.
- Each request uses tokens. Building a flow uses a little more than asking a question.
- When the balance runs low, the owner or an admin adds a token pack from the panel. Packs are paid from your Convo360 wallet.
- If our AI is unavailable and a request fails, you are not charged for it.
Copilot is on for every workspace and costs nothing until you choose to add a pack. Your bots, your broadcasts and your plan work the same whether you use it or not.
Who gets the most from it
- New sign-ups. The first working flow in minutes, not an afternoon.
- Owners who do not build bots for a living. A clinic manager, a coaching institute, a showroom. You know the conversation; Copilot knows the blocks.
- Agencies and resellers. A first draft for each client in one sentence, then polish by hand.
- Teams on the phone. Speak the request while you are on the shop floor.
Experienced builders use it differently: to rough out a menu with many branches quickly, then add conditions, API calls and payments themselves.
What it does not do
It is better to know the edges before you rely on it.
- It can change a flow you already have, but only one made of messages, questions, menus and save steps. A flow with conditions, waits, payments or API calls is left alone, and it tells you so.
- A change is saved as a draft. Your live flow keeps running as it was until you publish.
- It can send a WhatsApp broadcast once you confirm, but only a template with no picture and at most one blank. Others are sent from Campaigns.
- It does not make calls, change your billing or connect channels for you. It takes you to the right page and you do those yourself.
- Its first draft is a draft. Read the wording and preview every branch before you go live. The guide to testing flows shows how.
Those limits are deliberate. The things that cost money or reach customers stay in your hands.

Frequently asked questions
What is an AI copilot in a chatbot platform?
It is an assistant inside the product that carries out what you describe in plain language. Instead of dragging blocks onto a canvas yourself, you say what the bot should do and the copilot builds the flow, which you then review and edit like any other.
Does Convo360 Copilot work in Hindi or Hinglish?
Yes. You can type or speak in English, Hindi or Hinglish, for example “naam aur phone number lo, phir Gold ya Silver ka option do”. Speaking uses your browser’s speech recognition, so it works in browsers that support it, such as Chrome.
How is Copilot charged?
Copilot has its own token balance, separate from your bots and your AI key. You start with 100,000 free tokens, about 80 requests. After that, the workspace owner or an admin buys a token pack from the Copilot panel, paid from the Convo360 wallet. Failed requests are not charged.
Can Copilot change or delete things in my account by itself?
No. Anything that creates data, such as a flow or an appointment, is shown to you first and runs only when you confirm. A change to an existing flow is saved as a draft and goes live only when you publish, and a broadcast is sent only after you confirm it. It never deletes anything or changes billing.
Do I still need my own AI key if I use Copilot?
For Copilot itself, no. For your bots, yes: the agents that talk to your customers keep running on your own provider key, which is how Convo360 avoids marking up AI usage. Copilot only helps you build and find things.
How do I get Copilot on my workspace?
Copilot is on for every Convo360 workspace. Press Ctrl + J or click the Copilot button in the top bar, and the panel opens with 100,000 free tokens ready to use. There is nothing to install or request.
